[ONLINE] Restorative Yoga
Sunday, June 279:00—10:00 AMZoom
Certified yoga instructor Jelisa Difo leads a weekly online class in Restorative Yoga, a practice that allows you to slow down, restore, and relax your body through passive stretching. During the long holds of restful poses, your muscles are allowed to release tension and welcome deep relaxation into the body and mind. No experience or flexibility required, however you will need the following props:
- 1 bolster/firm pillow: To make a bolster, stuff a pillowcase with towels, blankets, or clothing until it is firm and packed tightly. Or use a large, firm pillow
- 2 blocks: To make a block, stack hardcover books to a height of about 6-8 inches
Sundays June 6, 13, 20 & 27. You must register for each individual yoga session. You can see this month's sessions here.
This program has been generously funded by the Friends of the Edgartown Free Public Library.
The Zoom link for this program will open half an hour before the program's start time, so come in a little early, set up your devices, get comfortable, and turn your mic and video off until you are invited to turn them on again. This program will not be recorded.
