Thursday, June 276:00—8:00 PMEdgartown Free Public LibraryEdgartown Free Public Library26 West Tisbury Road, Edgartown, MA, 02539

For Pride Month, the library will be showing four films that highlight the rich tapestry of LGBTQ+ voices and stories. Light refreshments will be served. All adults are welcome.

Please note: Film Night will be on a break for July and August to make room for our exciting schedule of summer programs.

Realizing that they share common foes in Thatcher’s conservative government of 1984 Britain, London-based gay and lesbian activists decide to offer their support to striking Welsh miners. What ensues is a hilarious and heartwarming tale of solidarity in spite of differences.

This program is generously funded by the Friends of the Edgartown Free Public Library.
