[ONLINE] Out of the Shadows: Hollywood’s History with the LGBTQ+ Community

Thursday, June 247:00—8:00 PMZoom

In observance of Pride Month, film historian Frank Mandosa takes a look at LGBTQ+ representation in mainstream film, both onscreen and off. Over the past century, Hollywood has had a troubled history with both onscreen depictions of the LGBTQ+ community and their real-life interactions. This program explores not only the ongoing evolution of this dynamic before, during, and after the cameras roll, but also the portrayals of the LGBTQ+ community in films of all genres, both past and present.

The Zoom link for this program will open half an hour before the program's start time, so come in a little early, set up your devices, get comfortable, and turn your mic and video off until you are invited to turn them on again. This program will not be recorded.
