Mozart's Don Giovanni, as directed and designed by Franco Zeffirelli, is a feast for the eyes and ears. The lavish 2012 production, performed at the historic Arena di Verona, was one of Zeffirelli's last and demonstrates his signature style of monumental and visually rich stagings. The cast includes lyric soprano Irina Lungu as Donna Anna, soprano Maria Jose Siri as Donna Elvira, and baritone Carlos Alvarez as the great seducer himself, Don Giovanni. Maestro Stefano Montanari conducts the Arena di Verona Orchestra and chorus through Mozart's dramatically intense score.

Sung in Italian with English subtitles, the opera runs three hours, including intermission. All adults are welcome.
