[ONLINE] Murder is My Business: Mystery Writers Panel of “Agatha Award” Nominees and Winner

Wednesday, November 37:00—8:30 PMZoom

Join us for an all-star panel discussion featuring all five nominees for this year's Agatha Award for Best First Mystery Novel -- Esme Addison (A Spell For Trouble); Tina deBellegarde (Winter Witness); Mary Keliikoa (Derailed); Laura Jensen Walker (Murder Most Sweet); and winner Erica Ruth Neubauer (Murder At The Mena House). Author Catriona McPherson will serve as moderator.

Hosted by Tewksbury Public Library.

The Agatha Awards honor the “traditional mystery,” best typified by the works of Agatha Christie. The genre is loosely defined as mysteries that contain no explicit sex, excessive gore, or gratuitous violence, and would not be classified as "hard-boiled." Each year, the winners in each of the six categories are bestowed with trophies shaped like English teapots by the organization “Malice Domestic” in Washington, DC. For the last two years, the award ceremony has been virtual.
