Join the Martha’s Vineyard Chamber Music Society for their annual Thanksgiving concert, featuring New England Conservatory ensemble Trio Gaia, with violinist Grant Houston, cellist Yi-Mei Templeman, and pianist Andrew Barnwell.

Exploring the different faces of love, transport yourself from the mountains of Peru to the valleys of Upper Austria. In American composer Gabriela Lena Frank's Four Folk Songs, you'll experience her love for her mother's homeland of Peru as she paints folk-infused soundscapes of the country's pre-Incan and post-colonial societies. From there, witness two works that delve into desire, heartbreak, tenderness, hope, and triumph: Clara Schumann's G minor trio and Johannes Brahms’ C major trio. The close professional and personal relationship between Schumann and Brahms offers a fascinating lens through which to appreciate these two gems of the repertoire.
