During Banned Books Week, libraries across the Commonwealth will celebrate the freedom to read with a Statewide Read-In. Stop by the Edgartown Public Library for a silent read-in and demonstrate your support in the fight against book bans. We will provide comfortable seating in our front lobby and will serve hot apple cider, coffee, and donuts for read-in participants (while supplies last). A selection of banned books will be on display for you to browse, read, and check out.
