In celebration of National Native American Heritage month, we will be showing several films that were not only created by Indigenous people, but also highlight their experiences. These films explore aspects of American culture and identity that have been influenced by Native Americans. No registration required.
A revelatory documentary that brings to light the profound and overlooked influence of Indigenous people on popular American music. Focusing on music icons like Link Wray, Jimi Hendrix, Buffy Sainte-Marie, Taboo, Charley Patton, and many more, this film shows how pioneering Native American musicians helped shape the soundtrack of our lives.
