Over the fifty-plus years Bill has been painting, he has found countless points of inspiration allowing him to work in various mediums. As a painter, he works mostly in acrylic on stretched canvas, which is featured in his new show, From 70s to 70. Bill’s interests lie in the contrast of colors, the geometry of lines, and visual imagery. Much of his subject matter comes from inner visions, dreams, and looking at the world through an abstract lens. Since moving to Martha’s Vineyard Bill has been working on location, and uses local scenery as his inspiration.
