Roma (Mexico, 2018)
Set in Mexico City in 1970, Roma follows the life of an indigenous Mixteca nanny, Cleo, who works for an upper-middle class family. Having based the film’s story on his own childhood, Oscar-winning director Alfonso Cuarón delivers a vivid, emotional portrait of a domestic worker's journey set against the domestic and political turmoil of 1970s Mexico.
