March is Women’s History Month, and to celebrate, we’ll be showing four films that highlight the experiences of women throughout history. Dessert and light refreshments will be served.

Salma Hayek stars in this visually stunning biopic of Mexican artist Frida Kahlo, directed by Julie Taymor. After a bus accident which renders her permanently disabled, Kahlo channels her trauma and pain into painting and enters into a tempestuous marriage with fellow artist Diego Rivera. Charting her controversial affairs and revolutionary artwork, Kahlo’s story is moving and unforgettable.
